Important - The Paseo Vista Archery Club Coaches and Instructors highly recommend that you DO NOT purchase any Archery equipment until you take lessons. Equipment needs to be "fitted" to the individual and by waiting to talk with a coach will save you a lot of headaches and money.

Please check the Events Page for upcoming classes. All classes are held through City of Chandler Parks and Recreation Department. You do not need to be a resident of Chandler to participate in classes. The City of Chandler does charge an extra non-residence fee.

Registration for City classes will not open up until two weeks before the class start date.

Introduction to Archery - This is a one hour long class that is held several times during the year. Come get a taste of archery with our certified instructors. After a brief talk on archery safety, our instructors will have you hitting the target in no time at all. See the calendar for upcoming dates. This class is limited in size and registration is through the City of Chandler Parks and Recreation Department. The next class is Saturday, June 22 and on Saturday, August 24.

Beginner's Archery Classes - These classes are held through the Chandler Parks and Recreation Department. These are 6 week sessions designed to get you started the right way. Classes cover safety, the beginnings of the B.E.S.T Method and equipment. All equipment needed for the class will be provided. Classes are held on Saturdays and there are 4 sessions per year. Class space is limited and will fill up fast. The next 6 week session begins on April 27, 2013

Intermediate Archery Classes - These classes are held through the Chandler Parks and Recreation Department. These are 6 week sessions that are a continuation of the Beginner's Archery Classes. We highly recommend that you take the Beginner's class first. These classes will focus more on the B.E.S.T. Method, while improving form and accuracy. All equipment is provided and we encourage those that have their own equipment to use it. Classes are held on Saturdays and there are 4 sessions per year. Class space is limited. Go to the club calendar for upcoming dates. The next 6 week session begins on April 27, 2013.

The Introductory, Beginner's and Intermediate Classes are held through the City of Chandler Parks and Recreation Department. Go to www.chandleraz.gov/default.aspx For registration information.

Group, Corporate Events, Birthday Parties.

The Paseo Vista Archery Club can host group and corporate archery events. Great for corporate team-building, student group bonding or birthday parties, these two-hour sessions provide a quick and fun introduction to Archery in a casual, low-stress environment. All the equipment will be provided for you. You don't have to have any Archery experience and your group will receive instruction from United States Archery Association (USAA) certified instructors. Normally these events are held at the Paseo Vista Archery Range.

Details - Birthday Parties, Scout Troops

Who: Your group can consist of adults and youth. Children need to be at least 8 years old to participate.

Dates & Times: Sessions last two hours or can be customized to fit your group's need. Instructors are available Saturdays and Sundays. Spring is the tournament season and is very busy, but we will do our best to fit your group in.

Location: Paseo Vista Recreation Area, Chandler, Arizona The Park is on the Northwest corner of McQueen Rd and Ocotillo Rd.

Cost: $15.00 per person with a $200.00 minimum - includes range time, archery equipment and certified instructor.

The Paseo Vista Archery Club will work with Home School Groups, Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops and Charter Schools to help develop Archery Programs.

Corporate Team Building Sessions: Corporate Team Building sessions start at $500 for up to 10 people. Larger groups can be accommodated. Please contact us for information.

Private Lessons: One on one private lessons are available with our certified USA Archery Instructors and Coaches. Lessons are normally one hour in length and fees can start as little as $30.00 per hour for beginning lessons (fees depend on skill level and instructor).
